Dennison Homestead

Built in 1717 and continuously owned by the Denison Family, this early 18th century
farm house is located on 200 acres of ledge, woodlands and meadows with 18th,
19th, & 20th century period gardens and over 8 miles of nature trails.

The Denison story began in Ireland where Ann Borodell met her future husband Capt George Denison, a young Massachusetts man in Cromwell's Army. Their story, and that of their descendants, continued on this site in Stonington, Connecticut.
