Built in 1717 and continuously owned by the Denison Family, this early 18th century
farm house is located on 200 acres of ledge, woodlands and meadows with 18th,
19th, & 20th century period gardens and over 8 miles of nature trails.

The Denison story began in Ireland where Ann Borodell met her future husband Capt George Denison, a young Massachusetts man in Cromwell's Army. Their story, and that of their descendants, continued on this site in Stonington, Connecticut.

Take a trip back in history, one of the coolest locations in Mystic Connecticut, See tall ships of the past or travel to a working shipyard or take a horse and carriage ride through a recreated 19th century seafaring village.
